Gulab Haveli

The Gulab Haveli (formerly known as Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli) established in 1830 , was the former home and seat of Chief Trader of Mandawa Gulab Rai Ladia, where he used to deal business in camel wool, dry spices of Rajasthan & opium. His ancient chambers still has the charm of sitting in an old baithak where walls are adorned with intricate work of European inspired fresco paintings. One of the significant evidences that still convey the story of Ladia family, is its GOLD PAINTED ROOM of Gulab Haveli.This is the only gold-painted room in all of Rajasthan that has been preserved in its original form through the centuries, showcasing the craftsmanship of the bygone era.
